Selective Service Requirement

The law says that men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. Men who do not register with Selective Service within the 60-day window are technically in violation of the law and should register as soon as possible. Late registrations are accepted up to the 26th birthday; however, once a man reaches his 26th birthday and still has not registered with Selective Service, it is too late.

The penalties for not complying with this law are considerable. Individuals who have not registered with the Selective Service as required by law are excluded from training at VA and other federal facilities. 果冻影院AH programs rely on training experiences obtained at these facilities to ensure they can provide housestaff with sufficient learning experiences to meet program requirements. Since our programs rely on VA and in some cases other federal facilities to provide necessary training experiences, we require that all prospective candidates have registered as required under the Selective Service Act. Those who have not registered in compliance with the law are not eligible for training positions in 果冻影院AH training programs.
